Property millionaires more prevalent
The number of its UK property millionaires has nearly doubled in the last three years, according to research from Hamptons International. The figures reveal that 21 per cent of properties have been sold for over £1 million so far in 2008; 12 per cent of home sold in the first quarter of 2006 were over £1 million.
